Business Development Intern - Los Angeles

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop segmented target list of retail and business partners throughout each Tot Squad market (Los Angeles/OC, NYC, San Diego, Washington D.C.)

• Assist with creation of marketing content and sales strategies targeted to retail partners to drive market penetration and increase consumer sales

• Identify industry influencers on social media by geographical market and define marketing strategy to access and leverage

• Make cold calls and visits to potential partners and sell business owners/managers on the value of the strategic partnership; distribute collateral

• Serve as a Brand Ambassador for occasional industry and community events to raise awareness of services, meet and greet customers

• Research affiliate marketing and brand partnership opportunities

• Assume various projects based on interest and needs of the business

REQUIREMENTS

• Some previous internship(s) or professional experience a must; academic focus in Marketing, Public Relations, Business, Sales or Advertising is ideal

• Detail oriented and organized, but also able to multi-task and juggle projects

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to work across a variety of departments and stakeholders

• Excellent copy writing skills

• Hardworking and reliable; wiling to help out on whatever tasks need to be accomplished

• Graphic design experience a plus

• Language Requirements: Must speak English and be authorized to work in US

DETAILS

• 10-15 hours per week, flexible

• School credit and possible stipend depending on experience
